Inspired by Kerri Smith's "Wreck This Journal" project, we invite you to create your own journal, with special prompts on each page that encourage you to think outside the box.  We'll provide the journal, examples of prompts, and all the craft supplies you could need.  You just need to bring your creativity.

Our Mystery Book Club meets once a month and is led by librarian Sharon Nagel. This month we're reading A Rising Man by Abir Mukherjee.

Join us for an evening with Eleanor Roosevelt, played by actress Jessica Michna. In this first-person presentation, Eleanor Roosevelt shares with the audience her tragedies and triumphs. Born into the opulent wealth of America’s “Golden Age” she would grow from the shy, homely orphan into a confident, driven woman. Annealed by personal tragedy, she would emerge as a champion of civil rights, author, and stateswoman. Eleanor has been characterised by many as our most respected First Lady. She is best summed up by President Harry S. Truman, who dubbed her “The First Lady of the World.”

Our Tea Time Book Club meets once a month is led by Library Director Nyama Reed.  This month we're reading Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue. As of March, Tea Time Book Club with offer hybrid meetings. You can attend in-person at the Library in the 2nd floor Program Room or online via Zoom.
